Summary: The Human Resources Generalist performs professional, administrative, and clerical work assisting in the operations

of the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities span recruitment, onboarding, benefit transactions, management of

webpage, and providing direct support to the Human Resources Director. This position requires high confidentiality and

meticulous attention to detail.

Examples of Duties:

➢ Recruitment & Onboarding: Prepares job announcements, processes applications, monitors testing, schedules

interview panels, and conducts onboarding/offboarding processes. Utilizes social media channels to amplify outreach

and assist with candidate recruitment.

➢ Benefits Coordination: Assists with the administration of health insurance, life insurance, COBRA, OSHA compliance,

Workers' Compensation, and FMLA, including managing open enrollment.

➢ Budget & Systems Administration: Updates automated budget, HR modules and pay plans, prepares pay rate change

forms. Maintains and updates the Human Resources web page and utilizes AI tools to streamline administrative

workflow.

➢ Administrative Support: Provides direct administrative support to the Director by preparing correspondence,

maintaining calendars, serving as a key liaison to resolve staff inquiries and managing confidential files.

Minimum Qualifications:

➢ Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a closely related field.

➢ Experience: One year of professional HR experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Public

Sector Human Resources is highly preferred.

➢ License: Valid Driver’s License .

➢ Modern Workflows: Ability to leverage AI tools to automate tasks and utilize social media platforms for targeted

recruitment campaigns.

➢ Communication & Support: Exceptional communication skills required to handle sensitive correspondence and

provide high-level administrative support directly to the HR Director.
